USS Wren (DD-568) was a Fletcher-class destroyer commissioned in May 1944 that saw extensive service in the Pacific Theater during World War II, including shore bombardment missions against the Kuril Islands and operations during the Okinawa campaign, earning three battle stars. After decommissioning in 1946, she was recommissioned in 1951 and served with the Atlantic Fleet and Mediterranean deployments through the 1950s, including Far East operations during the Korean War era. Transferred to the Naval Reserve Force in the early 1960s, she was decommissioned in 1963 and scrapped in 1975.
