The USS Kidd, hull number DD-661, was a destroyer, built by Federal Shipbuilding and Drydock Co. and commissioned in 1943. She served through WWII Pacific Theater, Korean War, and Cold War Atlantic Fleet. Public naval references list this equipment aboard the USS Kidd, DD-661 — insulated and sealed with asbestos.
